In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale is a movie set to be released in 2006, directed by Uwe Boll
and based on the game series Dungeon Siege. It is produced by Brightlight Pictures. Uwe Boll
has said that two versions will be produced due to length. the first will run for 150 minutes and will be a single movie, trimmed-down for cinema release. A second two-part 180 minute version will be released for DVD .

Plot summary

The film follows the journey of Farmer (Jason Statham
) from simple family man to heroic prince. Amidst a fantasy backdrop of war in the Kingdom of Ehb between the evil Gallian and the ruling King Konreid, Farmer sets out to find his kidnapped wife, Solana, and avenge the death of his son, who was killed by animal warriors called Krugs.
