| Ivan Ivanov-Vano (January 27, 1900, Moscow – March 25, 1987, Moscow) was a Soviet animator and Russian animation director, sometimes called the "Patriarch of Soviet animation". Ivanov-Vano was a laureate of numerous festivals, and a professor at VGIK, where he taught Bulgarian animator Todor Dinov among others. He was also a member of the board of directors of ASIFA from 1962 on. Films
