Jack Frost was a holiday film released during the winter of 1998, starring Michael Keaton and Kelly Preston about a father that dies and comes back as a snowman.

Michael Keaton plays the title character, a man who is actually named Jack Frost. He runs a band, and thus is forced to miss many events in his son's life, but promises to be home for Christmas Eve. His band is schdueled for an audition that day, and thus Jack is forced to race home to make it in time. However, he gets in a car crash and is killed.

A year later, Jack returns as his son Charlie's snowman, and decides to make up for all the times he missed with his son. In the end, Jack is forced to flee with his son to a cabin to stay cold, and thus alive. His ex-wife arrives, and realizes that her husband has returned. Dawn and Christmas Day arrive, and Jack becomes human once more to say goodbye before dying.

Dweezil Zappa, Ahmet Zappa, and Moon Unit Zappa, all children of Frank Zappa, appear in the film.
