Jai Chiranjeeva is a Telugu 2005 comedy film directed by Vijaya Bhaskar K. Chiranjeevi once again teams up with Vyjayanthi Movies with whom he produced the earlier hit movies of Chiranjeevi such as Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, Choodalani Undi, and Indra. The movie stars Chiranjeevi, Sameera Reddy, Bhoomika Chawla, Arbaz Khan, Rahul Dev, and much more.

Story

Sathyanarayana Murthy{Megastar} is a rough but kind man who lives in Amalapuram with his niece, mother, sister, and her husband. Sathya and his niece Lavanya share a special bond with each other and are the best of friends. One day Lavanya dies while playing on the swings. Sathya later finds out that she has been murdered by the gun-dealer Pasupathi{Arbaz Khan}. In order to get his revenge Sathya must travel to the USA but the only way to get to the USA is to get a green card. The only way he can get a green card is to marry Neelu{Bhoomika Chawla}

But leaving Bhoomica in USA after marrying her is not good. This particular scene has created a bad impression for the audience.

Lead Roles

Chiranjeevi was excellent in his role of Sathyanarayana Murthy. He was especially good in the comedy scenes and romantic scenes. Not to mention him in sentimental scenes such as the following. His dances were excellent in the first half thanks to choreographer Lawrence. Bhoomika was adequate. Sameera Reddy was good as the ladylove of Chiranjeevi. Arbaz Khan didn't really fit in the role of Pasupathi. Venu Madhav, Brahmanandam, and Sunil's comedy was the hightlight of the movie especially Brahmanandam in the USA.

Music

Music by Mani Sharma was a major asset to the film. Here are the 6 songs in their proper order:

Jai Jai Ganesha-This is the first song in the movie. It has Chiranjeevi
in the lead and 50 other dancers. You can see Sameera doing some dances in this song. Lawrence composed the steps for this song.
Hey Jana-This is the second song canned in a club. Chiranjeevi
, Sameera, and 25 dancers perform in this racy song. Lawrence composed these stylish steps.
Maha Muddu-This is the third song in the movie. It is canned on Chiranjeevi
and Sameera outdoor locations. Chiru's step is definitley worth applauding for.
Ko Ko Kodi-This is the fourth song of movie. It was picturized on once again Chiranjeevi
and Sameera in indoor sets. Art director Anand Sai did an excellent job with making the sets. Raju Sundaram choreographed this song.
Thumsup Thunder-This is the fifth song of the movie. It was canned on Chiranjeevi
and Bhoomika in Mauritious. Chinni Prakash composed the steps for this song.
Thillana-This is the last song and definitly the highlight song. It is picturized on Chiranjeevi
and about 20 dancers in Las Vegas. Once again, Chinni Prakash composed these excellent steps.
