Juspion (巨獣特捜ジャスピオン, Kyojuu Tokusou Juspion or Giant Monster Investigator Juspion) is a japanese TV Show from the Metal Heroes
series made by Toei Company. The show is also know as Jaspion due to different romanizations of ジャスピオン.

The name Juspion was created by the juxtaposition of the words "Justice" and "Champion".

Plot

While reading the Galactic Bible, Edin learn of a shocking prophecy: When the dark god Satangoss awakens, the universe as we know it will be destroyed. When Satangoss appeared, Juspion set off under orders from his mentor Edin to stop the evil Satangoss and his Megabeasts with the gynoid Anri and the giant robot Daileon.

Characters

  • Juspion: The hero of the series, Juspion is an orphan raised by prophet and scientist Edin. Juspion wears an armor know as Metal Tec Suit and guides a space ship who transforms into a giant robot (mecha) named Daileon, both crafted by Edin. Juspion travels around a few planets to stop Satan Goss meneace, until he arrives on Earth.
  • Anri: A gynoid created by Edin. Juspion's sidekick.
  • Miya: Child alien creature found by Juspion and Anri on the jungle planet of Beezee. After her parents were killed by Satangoss's forces, Juspion adopted Miya.
  • Boomerang: Real name unknown. After his older brother, an Interpol investigator, was killed by Satangorth's forces, this medical student vowed revenge and became a 'Federal Nations sheriff', fighting with his twin boomerangs.
  • Edin: An space hermit and scientist, the descendant of prophets who defended the Galaxy Bible for tens of millennia. Raised Juspion, the survivor of a destroyed spaceship and sent him off to defeat Satangoss. He serves as Juspion's spiritual guide and mentor.
  • The Nambara Family (15-): Cameraman Ken'ichirou Nambara, his daughter Kanoko and his son Kenta became closely linked with Juspion when Ken'ichirou took a photo of the Golden Bird. It turned out that Kanoko was one of the five chosen by the Golden Bird to house it power until its time comes.
  • The Golden Bird: Guardian phoenix god of the galaxy, A manifestation of the energies of righteousness. The bird scattered itself into five pieces that choose Kanoko, along with four other children, Daisaku, Hiroshi, Mika, and Kumiko, to serve as its vessels until all five are brought together so that Golden Bird can leave their bodies and become whole agian for the final battle with Satangoss.
  • Tarzan of the Galaxy: A baby referred to in a prophecy in the Galaxy Bible, he landed on Earth, sleeping in a life-preserving capsule, as the sole survivor of a spaceship attacked by pirates. Juspion saw himself in the baby and named it the Tarzan of the Galaxy.

Megabeast Empire

  • Satan Goss: Also know as Satan Gorth due to different romanizations of サタンゴース was born of the negative energy of the Universe, the great-god-demon, evil himself, the Satan. The terrible Satan Goss has the power to enrage the creatures, turning then in vicious monsters. Satan Goss's objective is to create the Megabeast Empire in the Galaxy and rule it from the Earth, more specifically, Tokyo, Japan.
  • Madgalant: Also know as Magaren, MacGaren, Madogaran due to different romanizations of マッドギャラン. Madgalant is Satan Goss's son and his heir to the Megabeast Empire. Juspion's antagonist thoughout the series, he is capable of fighting him with his sword or with his black VTOL six-legged insectoid walker/plane, the Juldbooma. Can take human form.
  • The Aliens: Mercenaries of various unnamed species who assist Madgalant.
  • Gilza (29-35): Alien witch who brought Madgalant back to life when he was killed by Juspion.
  • Gilmarza (39-): Gilza's elder sister. A witch known as the 'Spectre Queen of the Dark Galaxy.'
  • The Four Deva Kings: Hirelings of Madgalant.
  • *Zampa (13-18): Top bodyguard in the galaxy.
  • *Ikki (13-15): Android who once threatened Juspion's parents.
  • *Guillauie (13-44): Female spy and master of disguise.
  • *Brima (13-44): Prophet with a crystal ball.
  • The Five Space Ninjas: Wear suits of black armor differing only in the color of their forehead plates. Each is named after the element he/she represents.
  • *Ka (Fire; red; 39-43)
  • *Sui (Water; blue; 39, 40)
  • *Moku (Wood; green; 39-42)
  • *Dou (Earth; long vowel irregular; white; 39)
  • *Fuu (Wind; yellow; 39-43)
