Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa is a 1993 Indian film directed by Kundan Shah. Shahrukh Khan plays the role named Sunil. The film also stars Juhi Chawla(in a guest appearance), Suchitra Krishnamurthy, Naseeruddin Shah and Deepak Tijori. The film was considered one of Shahrukh Khan's best performances. He received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Performance for his role.

Synopsis

The film is about Sunil (Shahrukh Khan) who is the key player in a band. He is madly in love with Anna (Suchitra Krishnamoorthi) the singer of the band. However Chris (Deepak Tijori) is also in love with her, it is also revealed that she loves him to. Sunil, jealous by this creates a misunderstanding between the two which causes them to fall out briefly. Eventually Chris finds out what Sunil did and tells Anna. Anna decides to cut all ties with Sunil and he is chucked out the band. The film deals with how Sunil tries to gain Anna's love as well as be aware of his own actions.

It is a very nice film with lots of humor and made very simply and at the same time dealing with subtle human emotions.

Trivia

The film stars Ashutosh Gowariker - who later on became a famous director - as one of the members of the brand.
