Trivia

Imperer is the only rider to have more than one Advent Monster from the start (unlike Ouja, who had to kill Gai and Raia to gain Metalgelas and Evil Diver). Besides his contract monster, Gigazelle, he is also joined by Megazelle and Omegazelle because these Gazelle-type Mirror Monsters travel in a group.

The name "Imperer" is a combination of the words "Impala" and "Emperor," meaning that the name of this rider means "Impala Emperor."

Impaler is a melee-based Rider. He does not have the pure brute force of Taiga nor the weapon skills of Knight or Ryuki, as such he relies on his Spin Advent card which gives him a double-drill guantlet. Aside from his Spin Advent, Impaler relies on his mass amount of contract monsters to do the fighting for him, afterwhich he lands the final blow. His Final Advent is pretty much the normal tactics, aside from the fact it causes his gazelles to attack in unison.

Impaler was badly wounded by Taiga after he had betrayed him, and mortally wounded by Oja while he was making his escape. Oja destroyed Impaler's card deck, making him unable to leave the mirror world where he would slowly dissolve. Impaler died shortly afterwards after being stuck in the mirror world for too long, screaming and begging for help.
