Kenneth Waid, born Kenneth Scruggs, is a homosexual erotic film-maker from Texas. At age 20, he moved to Seattle and entered the Seattle School of Performing Arts, and produced some of the regions most popular gay-related films. He was invited to the Sundance film festival in 2001
to premiere his film, BOYS: My Story which was one of the years most popular films amongst the gay community.

His films include:

  • Pumpin' 2 the Beat (1995)
  • Sweet Youth: The Early Years (1997)
  • Sweet Youth: The Later Years (1997)
  • Stanley & Virgil (1999)
  • Virgil On His Own (2001)
Waid currently lives and works in the Pacific Northwest with his black lab, Virgil.
