Kickboxer is a 1989 martial arts movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Plot

The film concerns Kurt Sloan, a corner man for his brother, kickboxing Champion Eric Sloan (Dennis Alexio). When Eric has his back brutally paralyzed in an unfair fight with Tong Po (Michel Qissi) in Thailand, Kurt vows revenge. Kurt goes to a remote area in Thailand to train with a famous trainer Xian Chow, who helps him master the art of Muay Thai ("Thai Boxing").
