| Disney's Kim Possible: So the Drama is the second feature-length animated movie of the Kim Possible series. This movie includes a mix of traditional animation and computer-generated imagery. The movie premiered April 8th, 2005 on the Disney Channel, advertised as the first animated Disney Channel Original Movie (although technically, that milestone would actually go to the DuckTales series premiere, "Treasure of the Golden Suns", which also originally aired as a TV movie on the Disney Channel). This movie was completed after the original run of the animated television series, but it was aired before the last few episodes of the series' third season. Originally the series finale, a fourth season of Kim Possible has been announced as of November 28th, 2005, and the series continues after the movie itself. The movie also features Christy Carlson Romano's new single "Could it Be". CastPlotDr. Drakken wants to stop Kim Possible once and for all. He somehow comes up with an ingenious plan which keeps even Shego guessing, which is surprising, considering the usual predictability of his plans. He decides to figure out Kim's one weakness by hiring men to live in a 'teen-environment' and then they report back to him on the pressures of teen life. Drakken finds that Kim's weakness is boys. She doesn't know who to take to the upcoming prom. Meanwhile, Drakken is also working on a brain-tap monster that sucks information out of one's brain, rendering them with a sort of memory-loss. He also steals a rough draft of a new toy that Nakasumi-san was inventing for Nakasumi Toys. Any toy he creates has been known to become an instant hit with children. Also, his synthodrones (goons that look like real people, but are filled with a synthetic slime) are improving and he's developing a personality enhancer for them.In Middleton, Kim is, indeed, frustrated over the prom issue. Ron figures they will be going together, just like every other dance, but Kim tells him that this is their Junior Prom and it's different. Ron seems a bit crestfallen, but Kim's on the quest to find a real date. Monique thinks that Kim is only falling victim to Bonnie's plans. Bonnie had told Kim earlier that all the cheerleaders are going to prom with either a jock or some other popular person and that perhaps she should consider taking someone more popular than Ron. Ron then meets a boy named Erik who happen to steal his parking spot at the school. At first, he's angry, but they start talking and Ron finds he and Erik have a lot in common. They hit it off right away and Ron decides to take Erik around and get him acclimated. At lunch, Erik spots Kim in the cafeteria line and immediately decides that he would like to go out with her. This disturbs Ron a great deal. Erik thinks this is because Ron likes Kim but the matter is instantly cleared up by an explanation that they are simply very good friends. Erik apparently takes his as an invitation to make a move on Kim as he hurriedly takes at seat next to her, which is traditionally Ron's seat. Ron attempts to stop them from meeting, but fails as the two start flirting. Kim's dad is working late one night when he doesn't return home and the family gets worried. Kim finds out that Drakken kidnapped her dad and she and Ron go to rescue him. They find him in Drakken's lair where Kim saves him from the brain-tap creature, but he doesn't remember being attacked. Drakken wanted the new technology that Dr. Possible was working on called the Hephaestus Project, which is a machine that has the ability to reproduce and grow by itself. Kim finds some of the things Drakken's working on but thinks nothing of it, not seeing a logical connection. Ron feels left out during the following days as Kim and Erik start "dating", although it's not official. They hang out at the park, at school, Bueno Nacho, and even at Kim's house. Kim's parents take a quick liking to Erik (who would feel better to have her in by 10:00 PM on prom night, although her curfew allows her to be out until 11:00 PM). Erik eventually asks Kim to go to the prom with him and she happily accepts. In addition to losing his best friend, Ron has to deal with the fact that Bueno Nacho has stopped Naco Night, and selling Nacos in general, and now has kiddie meals with toys. The place is always flooded with children these days and Ron can't take it anymore. This is due to a change in management. Someone bought the whole chain and replaced everything, including Ned the manager, one of Ron's few friends. Ron can't take it and breaks down on live television. It's finally prom night and Ron decides he's not going. Instead, he finally realizes that to get KP back, he's "going to do what no man should ever have to do: talk about his feelings". He goes to find Kim and tell her how he really feels about her. Making a stop at Bueno Nacho, Ron finds that something's not right.
