Larry Boy is a heroic character played by Larry the Cucumber in the VeggieTales series. The character of Larry Boy is based loosely on Batman
in early episodes and, later, adopts characteristics of SpiderMan as well.

LarryBoy made his first appearance in the VeggieTales episode Dave and the Giant Pickle. Later, VeggieTales released a LarryBoy episode entitled LarryBoy and the Fib from Outer Space. In this episode, LarryBoy must save the town of Bumblyburg from a giant lie, which was created by the VeggieTales character Junior Asparagus. The second LarryBoy episode released in the series is entitled LarryBoy and the Rumour Weed. In this episode, LarryBoy must save the town of Bumblyburg from a giant "Rumour Weed" which, of course, is spreading rumours about Bumblyburg's residents, which leads to misunderstandings and arguments.

In addition to these two computer-animated LarryBoy episode, Big Idea also released several Flash animated LarryBoy adventures. All of the aforementioned LarryBoy adventures are included in the "Bumblyburg Super-Hero Value Pack" DVD set, which is currently available at Amazon and other retailers.

Also, a Larry Boy Original Soundtrack album has been released, with music from both VeggieTales movies as well as two remixes of the Larry Boy Theme Song.

Big Idea is currently in production on a new LarryBoy 3-D video called, LarryBoy and the Bad Apple, which swings into stores August 1.
