Lilo Pelekai is a fictional character, one of the main characters in the Lilo & Stitch
films and television program. She is a nine-year-old Hawaiian girl who lives with her older sister Nani and an extended family of alien visitors marooned on Earth.

Her spirited and highly eccentric personality has somewhat alienated her from her fellow children, but she makes the perfect best friend for Stitch, an alien experiment who she adopts as her dog. Lilo attends Hula school and her hobbies include photography, talking about creatures from horror/sci-fi movies and capturing and rehabilitating Jumba's evil genetic experiments.

Lilo's parents are deceased, having died in a car crash. Not much is known about them, and apart from a photograph Lilo keeps under her pillow, there have been no apparences of them. This means that Lilo and Nani are so far the only known living members of the Pelekai family.
