Movies - Monte Carlo or Bust

Monte Carlo or Bust is a 1969 comedy film based around the Monte Carlo Rally. The film was also released under the title Those Daring Young Men in Their Jaunty Jalopies.

The film was a sequel to the 1965 hit Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines
and was created by the same writer-director team of Ken Annakin
and Jack Davies. Some of the cast from the first film also returned, including Gert Frobe, Eric Sykes
and Terry-Thomas
. The latter appeared as the son of his character in the original film. Other contestants in the race were played by Tony Curtis
and Susan Hampshire

The film was originally intended to be called Monte Carlo and All That Jazz, although the American distributors Paramount Pictures objected, and re-titled it Those Daring Young Men in Their Jaunty Jalopies for the U.S. release.
