| Nightfall is a 1957 black-and-white film directed by Jacques Tourneur. The film, considered film noir, stars Aldo Ray, Brian Keith and Anne Bancroft. The low-budget film is remembered today for camera work by cinematographer Burnett Guffey. The film uses flashbacks as a device to tell the story, which was based on a 1947 novel by David Goodis. A commercial artist is hunted by police for a killing he didn't do and criminals for stolen money he doesn't have. ReactionWriter Spencer Selby called the film a "Paranoid thriller which seems to be tourneur's return to some of the territory he explored in Out of the Past.Featured cast[ Visit the complete Wikipedia entry for Nightfall (1957 film) ] Some related entries: Paul Barrett-Brown | Jack and Sarah | The Second Woman | Kannathil Muthamittal | O-Ren Ishii | The Ambushers | What About Bob? | Mystery of Mamo | Doctor Zee | Krakatoa, East of Java | They Saved Hitler's Brain This page is based on the copyrighted Wikipedia article Nightfall (1957 film); it is used under the GNU Free Documentation License.
