Ninja Academy is a 1990 Nico Mastorakis comedy film starring Will Egan, Gerald Okamura, Kelly Randall, Michael David, Robert Factor, and Jeff Robinson. It was a low budget modern B-movie praised by many for the effort that the actors put into making the film likable despite its weak script while many critics dislike the movie because of its stereotypical characters, poor editing, bad jokes, repetetive soundtrack, and over-reliance on the Sports Training Montage. It is also accused of being a rip-off of the Police Academy series of movies.

Plot synopsis

Ninja Academy is the epic tale of the struggle between two Ninja Dojos for adults, Chiba's (played by Okamura) located out in the woods in Topanga Canyon in Topanga, California and the dojo of Chiba's one time classmate Addelman's Beverly Hills Ninja Academy in Beverly Hills, California. Integral to the plot are the motley crew of characters attending this particular session at Chiba's Dojo. They include highly stereotypical and comical prototypes of a mime, a James Bond imitator, a Gung-ho military enthusiast, a klutz, an immature rich college student, and two bimbos.
