It stars Burgess Meredith, Betty Field, Lon Chaney Jr., Charles Bickford, Roman Bohnen, Bob Steele and Noah Beery, Jr. The film, produced by the Hal Roach Studios, was adapted by Eugene Solow and directed by Lewis Milestone.
