Irish-born writer and director of television and film. Became interested in his line of work at age eight due to being captivated by the way anything and everything seemed possible in films.

Recently, Duane went to see 'The Beat My Heart Skipped' and said it wasn't half as good as the completely obscure original nobody except him has seen.

Has directed television programmes including:

  • Casualty
  • The Royal
  • Small Potatoes
  • Footballer's Wives
And short films including LSD 73!, based on an original script by the Irish novelist Patrick McCabe.
