Paul Mayeda Berges is a film writer and director. He is married to film director Gurinder Chadha.

He was raised in Torrance, California. He studied film at, and graduated from, the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 1990. He has collaborated with Chadha on a number of films as writer and producer. He made his directorial debut in 2005 with The Mistress of Spices, based upon the novel of the same name by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.
