| Perfect Strangers (1945); (USA: Vacation from Marriage) Perfect Strangers was a memorable film about a timid married couple (Robert Donat and Deborah Kerr) who are separated by serving overseas in the Second World War. They are transformed through meeting other people: (a nurse Ann Todd and an officer Roland Culver). At the end of the war, they are reunited, but they find that they are Perfect Strangers. They consider divorce, but are later reconciled.
