Peter Panama is an Spanish language action/thriller short film released by Tindall manor films in March, 2005.Synopsis---- Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow. ---- The movie begins as a fight breaks out between two men on a rocky clearing somewhere in Panama. At first their identities are unknown but they are eventually revealed to be Jose Panama and Sven Thunder. The two fight hand-to-hand, with weapons (including an American flag), and Sven draws a pistol but Jose kicks it away. During the fight, a young boy (Peter Panama, Jose's son) is shown watching in horror from a nearby window. Eventually, Sven knocks Jose to the ground with a "thunderpunch", retrieves his dropped gun, and stands over Jose while aiming at the dazed man. While Peter rushes to his father's rescue, a gunshot is heard. Sven and an anonymous man are then shown standing over Jose's body. Sven says, "The son saw me. We should leave." And they do. Peter reaches his father too late, weeps over his body, and stumbles away in agony. The rest of the movie takes place a number of years in the future. We find Peter in a hospital bed as his doctor, Sanchez Mantequilla, enters. The doctor informs Peter that he is terminally ill and provides him some medicine that might help him to live longer. Peter thanks Sanchez and returns home. At home, Peter relaxes in a chair, takes some of the medicine, and soon becomes disoriented. His vision is blurred and his movement is erratic, and eventually he passes out... Peter imagines himself in a fantasy world, flying high over a strangely colored forest. He lands in a clearing, investigates his surroundings, and finally bumps into a strange blindfolded man. The man claims to be "The Oracle" who supposedly knows everything. Peter asks who the man was that killed his father, but the Oracle only answers in vague riddles. Peter becomes angry, and the Oracle reveals a name: "Sven Thunder." Peter asks how he can find this man, and the Oracle says that his father can guide him. Peter then goes into a seizure-like state and has a flashback of his father and him playing happily. Peter wakes up screaming in his chair, and vows to avenge his father. He decides to get help from his friend, Wendy Rodriguez-Lopez. Peter walks to Wendy's house and finds her playing basketball alone. Peter discusses his situation, and tells her about Sven Thunder. Wendy recognizes Sven as a member of the local Panamanian mafia, and the two set out to find him, hopping, skipping, and jumping along the way. Peter eventually finds an open garage, where a man in a chef hat is standing with his back to him. Peter asks him where Sven Thunder is, but the Chef will not answer. Peter draws his pistol and asks again, angrily, but the Chef is not afraid of dying. Finally Peter grabs the man's hand and asks again. The Chef is confused but still resists. Peter suddenly and viciously bites the Chef's hand and tears a few of his fingers off with his teeth. The Chef screams in pain, then reveals that Sven is in the nearby forest looking for mushrooms for a soup. Peter says his classic "muy bueno" and shoots the Chef in the head. In the forest, Sven is happily skipping down a dirt path and singing the infamous "champinone" song (Spanish for "mushroom"). Peter ambushes him and the two fight. Eventually Sven is knocked down, just like Jose had been in the original fight, and this time Peter is the one aiming a gun. Sven begs for Peter to stop, claiming that he is not the one that killed Jose. Just as Sven is about to reveal the true killer, Peter shoots him, splattering blood all around. Peter sadly exits the forest. Peter arrives at home, sits in his famous brown chair, and takes more of the medicine. Again he hallucinates and arrives in the fantasy forest. He finds the Oracle again, and tells him that Sven is not the killer. The Oracle says that technically he didn't say that Sven Thunder killed Jose. Peter is angry, but the Oracle gives him a new clue: Peter has to find the Oracle's brother, Fernando. Peter awakens with a note attached to his forehead. The note has the address "7503 MAIN ST", which Peter quickly finds. However the address only leads to an empty field. After looking around, Peter finds a dead body in the field, who posesses a key and a piece of paper that reads "FERNANDO". Peter goes home, takes more medicine, and encounters the Oracle for the third and final time. Peter asks him where the key is from, and the Oracle answers, "the hospital." Back in the real world, Peter rushes to the hospital and busts into his former room, where he finds a new note: "PETER, ESTOY EN SU CASA" ("Peter, I am in your house.") Peter runs back home, where he just was, and finds Dr. Sanchez Mantequilla in his house. Sanchez reveals that indeed, it was he who shot Jose on that fateful day, and also that Peter's medicine was poison that should have killed him. The two fight, paralleling the two previous fights, as they move outside and Peter is knocked to the ground. Sanchez holds a gun over him and says "adios", as the screen cuts to black and a gunshot is heard.
