Phantasm IV: OblIVion is the 1998 sequel to Phantasm
. It was written and directed by Don Coscarelli.

A. Michael Baldwin and Reggie Bannister reprised the roles of Mike and Reggie from the other films in the series. Angus Scrimm also appears again as the Tall Man. Roger Avary makes a cameo appearance in the film as one of the "13th Morningside Infantrymen".

The film's tagline was "The sequel with balls!"

Plot outline

Taking off immediately where Phantasm III ended, in this chapter Mike travels across dimensions and time fleeing from the Tall Man, at the same time he tries to find the origins of his enemy, and what really happened the night that Jody (Mike's brother) died. Meanwhile, Reggie (accompanied by Jennifer; a beauty he picked up on the road) battles the spheres and the undead in a quest to find Mike before the Tall Man can complete his transformation.
