Police Story 2 is a 1988 film starring Jackie Chan as "Kevin" Chan Ka Kui, Kwok Hung Lam as Superintendent Raymond and Maggie Cheung as Ka Kui's girlfriend May.

The plot continues off from Police Story 1 as Ka Kui's worst enemy Chu-Tao frames Ka-Kui with a bunch of illegal explosives and also by kidnapping May. The movie is rated PG-13 because of the violence and martial arts.

DVD

The longest cut of the film is the Japanese cut at 122 minutes. The Hong Kong cut is 101 minutes and the US is 92 minutes. The version in the IVL trilogy DVD boxset is the Japanese version but with Hong Kong blooper footage (but retaining the soundtrack used in the Japanese version). The Hong Kong Legends version is cropped from the original aspect ratio.
