Polydichloric Euthimal is a fictional chemical substance originated by Peter Hyams in his 1981 film, Outland
. The film featured it as a "powerful hallucinogen." Later references include (a) as the substance used to destroy Cyberdyne headquarters in the film Terminator 2: Judgment Day
(1991), and (b) a rotating molecule simulation in the film The Relic (1997).
