| Prick Up Your Ears is a 1987 film about the gay playwright Joe Orton and his lover Kenneth Halliwell. The screenplay was written by Alan Bennett, based on the book by John Lahr. The film stars Gary Oldman as Orton, and Alfred Molina as Halliwell. Directed by Stephen Frears, the interior used for Joe and Ken's flat, was the actual flat where they lived. It is at 25 Noel Road, Islington, London.
