| A Production Diary is an account of the making of a film. Production diaries follow and scrutinize different aspects of movie production. Web-based production diaries are a new way for film makers to publicize their productions as they are being created, rather than when they are released (the old-model of film marketing). They can also be known as PD's, PPD's (Post-Production Diaries) or vlogs.
