| Radio Flyer is a 1992 American movie about child abuse. Directed by Richard Donner, with Elijah Wood, Tom Hanks, Lorraine Bracco, Adam Baldwin, Ben Johnson, Rosanna Arquette. At one point in the movie one of the boys fits wings and a model aircraft engine to a Radio Flyer wagon and flies away from home to escape abusive stepfather "The King" (Baldwin). There has been speculation that this fantastical journey was intended as a metaphor for suicide, but this has been denied by Donner.
