Random Task was a fictional villain in the employ of Dr. Evil in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, played by the actor Joe Son.

Random Task is a spoof of Oddjob, a character from the James Bond film Goldfinger. Where Oddjob's habitual manner of assasination was a bowler hat with a razor rim, Random Task uses a shoe, which evokes the reaction from Austin Powers, "Ow! That really hurt! Honestly, who throws a shoe?"

As his name implies, he also does random tasks for Dr. Evil, like driving his car, taking Mr. Bigglesworth when he is talking, and attempting to assassinate Austin Powers.

He was killed near the end of the movie by a wine bottle to his head while having Austin's Swedish Penis Enlager Pump on and being pushed out to the hallway of the hotel Austin was staying in.
