Red Dust (1932), Directed by Victor Fleming, is the second of six movies Clark Gable and Jean Harlow made together. It was produced in the Pre-Code era of Hollywood.PlotConditions are spartan on Dennis Carson's (Gable) Indochina rubber plantation during a dusty dry monsoon. The latest boat upriver brings Carson an unwelcome guest: Vantine (Harlow), a floozy from Saigon, hoping to evade the police by a stay upcountry.
