| Robert Moore (August 7 1927 - May 10 1984) was an American stage, film and television director, born in Detroit, Michigan. He is best known for his Broadway work, being nominated for a Tony Award five times. As well as some TV directing work and TV appearances, he worked on three films with writer Neil Simon, Murder By Death (1976), The Cheap Detective (1978) and Chapter Two (1979).
