| Robocop is a arcade game released in 1989. It was converted for many home computers and game consoles. Conversions were blamed of average or poor technical quality. The gameplay captures the film's spirit to some degree. It involves killing generic criminals and enemy bosses while watching your power from running out. The game includes several glitches that hinder gameplay but is for the most part playable and was very popular. It was followed by several sequels including RoboCop 2, RoboCop 3, and the unreleased RoboCop vs. The Terminator which was later ported to several other consoles including the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System, including others.
