| Rombie is a common name for the classification of the monsters in a zombie movie genre that do not fit the exact description of being undead. They are violent and seemingly have no rational thought. They attack on sight and are also infectious. They have many zombie-like characteristics but are still technically alive. The best example of rombies can be seen in 28 Days Later however there are other examples in independent films such as Zombiez.
