Saamy is a 2003 Tamil movie starring Vikram, Trisha and Vivek. The film is directed by Hari and music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. This film was a blockbuster of the year and was a musical hit too.PlotAaruchami (Vikram) is a Deputy Commissioner of Police of Tirunelveli who efficiently brings the city under control. Meanwhile he romances with Bhuvana(Trisha) as college going brahmin girl. At the outset, he pretends to be a corrupt cop by accepting bribes from the very influential Annachi.
