"Salisbury Steak" is a series of short horror films created by filmmakers Collin Buchanan, Jordan Carmon and Marcus Swope beginning in the early 2000's. The films in the collection, all of which featured an alternating cast of performers, showcased various bizarre misadventures, all of which ended in the violent deaths every character featured.

As of 2006, six installments of the series have been completed. The fourth episode in the series was written well above its own budget, with many known actors and teen idols committing to the project after only hearing rumors about the script. This turned into a disaster however when Paramount Pictures dropped the film and it was again picked up by Young Teen Productions who has so far been the driving force behind all six in the series.

"Salisbury Steak 7" (also known as "Salisbury Steak 7(1)", which has yet to begin production, is rumored to be a remake of the first film in the series, which starred novice actor Luke Rothwell. "It isn't so much a remake of the first film as it is a re-interpretation of it", says Collin Buchanan. "It's really about the complete and utter destruction of the modern day American protagonist as well as the capitalist system that he so vehemently defends."
