| Sam R. Balcomb is a filmmaker living in Los Angeles, California. He is best known for being the writer and director of the fantasy film project Ancanar. A life-long artist, Sam early-on developed an amazing talent for illustration, which has proven invaluable for the ability to storyboard his own projects. He is a huge fan of the writings of J. R. R. Tolkien. He made his first fantasy movie when he was twelve years old, with cardboard armour and clay dragons. He is currently thrilled to be working with greater production values. Sam has a comprehensive background in art, editing, graphic design, and visual effects - all of which have helped him in the long journey to bring Ancanar to the screen.
