| Sarkar 2 will be Ram Gopal Varma's sequal to Sarkar. Sarkar was made by Ram Gopal Varma, who was inspired by The Godfather in making this movie. After the success of Sarkar, Varma had decided to make a sequal. Supposedly, this will be the movie in which Abhishek Bachchan becomes the new Sarkar. Bachchan's ascendance to the role of Sarkar is another direct parallel to The Godfather, indicating that this sequal will be heavily and basically a "Hindi Dubbing" based on The Godfather Part II.
