| Shake Hands with the Devil was a 1959 film directed by the English director Michael Anderson. It is set in 1921 Dublin, where the Irish Republican Army battles the "Black and Tans," the British special forces trained to suppress the IRA with harsh measures. The film stars James Cagney as Sean Lenihan and Don Murray as Kerry O'Shea. Also featured are Dana Wynter, Glynis Johns, and Michael Redgrave. There is also a 2005 documentary film of this name, based on the eponymous book which follows Romeo Dallaire on his return to Rwanda for the 10th anniversary of the genocide.
