Movies - Sharku

In J.R.R. Tolkien's books about Middle-earth, Sharku is an orkish word meaning 'old man'. It was the presumed source of the name 'Sharkey' given to Saruman by some of his troops.

In the movies, Sharku was used as the name of Saruman's warg rider captain. He leads a massive number of wargs onto the traveling Rohirric people. Sharku locks into combat with Aragorn. Sharku grabs Aragorn's Evenstar around his neck and is thrown from his warg which tumbles over the edge, taking Aragorn with it. Aragorn is believed to be dead, yet his trusty horse brings him to Helm's Deep. Luckily Legolas found the Evenstar in the dead Sharku's hand.
