She's Out Of Control is an independant 1989 coming-of-age comedy film about a divorced father raising his two daughters, mainly focusing on his older teenage daughter.

Plot summary

Divorcee Doug Simpson is a radio station producer who lives with his two daughters, Katie and Bonnie. His oldest daughter (Katie) turns fifteen. Katie suggests to her father that's it's time for her to start looking more grown-up. For the last fourteen years, Katie had been wearing dowdy clothes, braces and thick glasses and hanging around with Richard, her next-door neighbor and long-time boyfriend (Plus the one boy Doug approved of). When Doug leaves on a business trip, with the help of his fiance, Janet Pearson, she transforms Katie into a knockout beauty.

When Doug arrives back, he is shocked to find boys from every walk of life interested in dating Katie. In the midst of it all, Janet suggests Doug needs psychatrict help when his obsession with Katie and her boyfriends gets to the extreme. Throughout the movie, Katie has had three boyfriends; Two of whom she stops dating. In the end of the movie, Katie takes a class trip to Europe and hooks up with Richard again. The younger sister, Bonnie, begins dating after Katie leaves.
