Movies - She Was an Acrobat's Daughter

She Was an Acrobat's Daughter is an animated short released by Warner Brothers in April of 1937
.

Plot

Cartoon animals at a local movie theater switch seats before the show. Major gags include an MGM lion who crows instead of roaring at the start of the feature, a donkey who sells refreshments in the middle of the picture (and gets thrown out), and a goose who runs to the projector room and screws up the soundtrack of the movie. The goose ultimately gets his beak caught in the projector and is tangled up in the film reel at the iris out. The title song is sung by the audience as a singalong to the slides with the lyrics projected onto the screen. There is a gag during the singalong involving the wrong slide being shown, so the audience sings "please do not spit on the floor."
