| Shoot to Kill (also known internationally as Deadly Pursuit) is an adventure thriller movie released in 1988 starring Sidney Poitier as a FBI agent tracking a psychopathic killer trying to escape across the mountains into Canada. Tom Berenger plays the loner mountain-man who reluctantly helps him. The film was directed by Roger Spottiswoode. In an unusual move, the killer's identity is not revealed until halfway through the movie.
