and other teen/college comedies.

Plot

In their Senior year of College, three slick, con-artist best friends get caught by a creepy nerd, Ethan, when ringleader cheat Dave tactlessly flirts with classmate Angela. Ethan will expose the guy's cheating unless they agree to help him get Angela. Conflicted, Dave tries to save himself and his friends from expulsion while activly searching out and spending time with Angela...for Ethan's sake. Things complicate when Dave's feelings for Angela begin to overwhelm his need to graduate and to have his best friends do the same. The only thing to do is get Ethan before he can get the guys.

Slackers is consistently considered one of the worst movies to come out in the last 20 years, garnering a rare "Zero" out of four stars from Chicago Sun-Times critic Roger Ebert, who described it as "appalling" and "incomprehensible", as well as a miserable 7 out of 100 from the movie critic review website Rottentomatoes.com. In an article entitled, "It can't get any worse than Slackers", Rick Bentley of the Fresno Bee described the movie as "So putrid it is not worth the price of the match that should be used to burn every print of the film."
