| Stanley Cortez (November 4, 1908 - December 23, 1997) was an American cinematographer. Born Stanislaus Kranz in New York City, New York, Cortez worked as photographer before becoming involved with the motion picture industry. He was the cinematographer on over seventy films including Orson Welles' The Magnificent Ambersons (1942), Charles Laughton's The Night of the Hunter (1955), and Nunnally Johnson's The Three Faces of Eve (1957).
