Suspense is a 1946 film directed by Frank Tuttle. The film, which cost 1.1 million dollars to make, was considered the most expensive film put out by Monogram Pictures. It was also the last film appearance of actor Eugene Palette. The ice-skating themed movie starred Barry Sullivan and former Olympic skater Belita, who would team up again in 1947 for the film, The Gangster.PlotThe proprietor of an ice-skating revue promotes a strong-arming peanut-vendor (Sullivan) at the show to a management position based on suggestions he made to improve the act of the show's star, who also happens to be the owner's wife. However, he soon begins to notice that his new manager is paying more attention to his wife than he believes is appropriate, and begins to suspect that his new manager has designs not only on his wife but on his business. The plot thickens later when it appears that the man appears to have killed the owner.[ Visit the complete Wikipedia entry for Suspense (1946 film) ] Some related entries: Along Came a Spider | Shania: A Life in Eight Albums | The Baby of Mâcon | Don Markstein's Toonopedia | Peter Kurland | Lucasfilm Animation | Sabah | Edmonton International Film Festival | My Favorite Brunette | Bad News | The Fourth Protocol This page is based on the copyrighted Wikipedia article Suspense (1946 film); it is used under the GNU Free Documentation License.
