Technological Threat is a short animated film made in 1988. It was an example of early computer animation.

It takes place in an office where one of the workers die of working hard. The boss replaces him with a robot that writes faster. Another worker yawns, then falls through the trapdoor under his desk, also replaced by a robot. The others get fired for sneazing, drinking water, and injury, and are replaced by the robots. The last worker, seeing that his boss is replaced by a robot, takes action when he leaves. He takes them out in cartoony styles. When he chases the last one, they see the boss pushing the button. Quickly they slide the trapdoor onto the boss, also giving the worker the chance to push the robot off. It ends with the worker grabbing the bosse's cigar and pushing the trapdoor button on the viewer.
