Teenage Zombies is a 1959 horror/science fiction film, written and directed by Jerry Warren, which was featured in the 2004 documentary, The 50 Worst Movies Ever Made.

Synopsis

A quartet of teens, Reg (Don Sullivan), Skip (Paul Pepper), Julie (Mitzie Albertson), and Pam (Brianne Murphy), have a nice day and go water skiing, until they reach an island which is home to a testing center for a mad scientist who intends to turn everyone in the United States into a zombie. Agents from the center steal Reg's boat in order to leave the teens on the island. They are imprisoned in cages until two of their friends and a corrupt sheriff search the island for the imprisoned youth and they are freed.

Criticism

The movie was criticized for its use of stock footage from feature films by Jerry Warren, who later used it in his most famous film, 1981's Frankenstein Island.
