Movies - Tekken


Tekken is a movie based on the game series by the same name - Tekken. The movie is to begin production fall 2005. It is expected to have a budget of $50 million USD and is being executively produced by Tetsu Fujimura (CEO of Gaga) and Masaya Nakamura (chairman of Namco).

Plot

According to the official Crystal Sky Pictures website.

  • Based on the successful Namco game property the latest draft of Tekken is being written by Hans Rodinoff. In order to put to rest the ghosts of his past, Jin Kazama enters the Tekken tournament, a fierce and dangerous competition featuring the world’s best martial arts fighters. Following close behind him is Zheng, a rebel monk looking to save Jin from his own inner demons. While on the surface Tekken appears to be the corporation of the future, Jin and Zheng expose a dark underbelly that could threaten the very threads of humanity.
