| The Bourne Ultimatum is a film based on the novel The Bourne Ultimatum by Robert Ludlum. The film is targeted to be released in 2007, and will star Matt Damon as Jason Bourne. Paul Greengrass will return to the director's chair, while Tony Gilroy (who scripted the first two films) will write the screenplay along with playwright Tom Stoppard. Joan Allen as Pamela Landy is the only actor or actress confirmed to be returning, although Julia Stiles may also return as Nicky. Filming is set to begin on August 1, 2006.
