	Movies - The Creature Walks Among Us

The Creature Walks Among Us is the final installment of The Creature from the Black Lagoon horror film series from Universal Pictures.

Plot

Once again, the creature is captured by scientists, this time after his escape in Florida. During the capture, the creature is badly burned in a fire. The doctors bandage the creature, then notice that it is shedding its gills and even breathing using a kind of lungs. Now that the creature has more human-like skin, it is given clothing and the doctors attempt to try to get the creature used to living among humans. The head doctor ruins the plans when, in a murderous rage, kill a man who made romantic advances to his pretty wife. The doctor then tries to put the blame on the creature. The creature, witnessing the killing, goes on a rampage. After ripping down the electric fence that kept him in, it kills the doctor and then slowly walks back into the sea-- presumably to kill itself because it no longer has gills and a previous attempt to swim in this condition nearly kill it.
