The Damned Don't Cry! is a 1950 black-and-white film noir. The film is the first of three collaborations with director Vincent Sherman and Joan Crawford.

The film tells the story of a woman from the wrong side of the tracks who, with the help of the men she romances, fights her way to the top. The poor woman, Ethel, is now rich and living in a gangster's mansion. When her rival is murdered in her flat, she fears being arrested for the crime. Ethel Whitehead gives it all up and moves back to the poverty she thought she had escaped.
