| The Daytrippers is an independent drama film directed by Greg Mottola that was released in 1996. It stars Hope Davis as Eliza, Parker Posey as Jo and Liev Schreiber as Carl. Eliza finds what seems to be a love letter to her husband Louis and so decides to go to the city and confront him. Her family (including her sister Jo and her fiance Carl) comes along and they go searching for him in her father's car.
